Spook Out Cancer Event
Last Saturday of October

In 2015, the 1st Annual Spook Out Cancer Event took place and was such a success that we have hosted and grown the event each year since. Spook Out Cancer features Trunk-Or-Treating, Pick-A-Prize Raffle, costumes, fun and A LOT of candy! 100% of proceeds from the event go towards our Why Pink? goal for the Bismarck Cancer Center Foundation. The event and raffle would not be possible without the continued generosity from local businesses and volunteers, so we thank all those that have been involved over the past years!

2016 is a Leap Year, meaning we are given one extra day!

Chevrolet came up with the fantastic idea to #DayItForward, do something nice for someone on Leap Day. A group of us took that idea and RAN full speed with it.
On Feb. 29 2016 lunch was provided for the Bismarck Fire Department, Rural Fire Department, Burleigh County Sheriff's Department and Bismarck PD.
Cloverdale meats was kind enough to donate hot dogs and pulled pork, and Ruby Tuesdays donated pasta salads. It was a fantastic turn out and very appreciated.
Earlier that morning a couple of us went to The Welcome House, Salvation Army and The Bismarck Emergency Food Pantry to give large totes full of non-perishable food items to help out members of our community in need.
After lunch, we set out to surprise people at gas stations with $25 gift cards, and boy were they surprised! People had a hard time believing there was not a catch, that we would just simply give them a gift card. It was explained that, that was whole point.
Use the extra day to do something nice for someone else!
