Performance

Depending on the trim, you have a choice of three engines to suit your driving needs with the front-wheel drive.

  • The Ecotec® 2.5-liter is standard on the L and 1LT. It produces 193 hp and 188 lb.-ft. of torque while getting up to an EPA-estimated 27 MPG on the highway.
  • The 2.0-liter Turbo, which is standard on the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier, boosts performance to 227 hp and 258 lb.-ft. of torque with 29 MPG on the highway.
  • Exciting with 308 hp and 270 lb.-ft. of torque is the 3.6-liter V6 that gets 27 MPG on the highway. It is standard on the RS and available on the 2LT, 3LT, and Premier.

For the RS, an available Advanced Twin-Clutch All-Wheel Drive can send torque to the wheel with the most road grip to maximize your control.

  • Tow/Haul eases your pulling chores.
  • Sport gives you more thrills on the street.
  • All-Wheel Drive, when equipped, adds more traction.
  • Off-Road handles challenging surfaces by optimizing the chassis control systems and the chassis.

Technology

The 2021 Chevrolet Blazer brings you convenience on the road, thanks to tech that connects with the world around you. It starts with the Chevrolet Infotainment System that you control through a handy full-color HD touchscreen in the middle of your dashboard. It integrates your personal device with support for Android Auto, Apple CarPlay®, and Bluetooth® so that you can make calls, send and receive text messages, and access specific apps while you’re still driving. You and your riders can check out the Internet with up to seven devices, thanks to the available 4G LTE Wi-Fi® hotspot.

Download the myChevrolet Mobile App to your smartphone to retain control of the SUV even when you’re not close to it. It lets you remotely start or stop the engine, lock or unlock the doors, or sound the horn and flash the lights. A map can show you where you parked your vehicle, and you can check its fuel range, oil life, and tire pressure. You can also schedule service with us and look for recalls.

Safety

When you intend on using the 2021 Chevy Blazer as your family’s main ride, you’ll like how it protects with the following assists.

  • If you’re about to hit the vehicle in front of you, Forward Collision Alert can inform you. If you do not react in time, Automatic Emergency Braking can stop your vehicle at speeds under 50 mph. Forward Pedestrian Braking offers the same protection if you are about to collide with a person.
  • Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning delivers gentle steering wheel turns to tell you that your vehicle is drifting across road lines and you do not have a turn signal activated.
  • Intellibeam High Beam Assist automatically switches between low beams and high beams when it detects the headlights of another vehicle approaching.
  • Adaptive Cruise Control maintains a safe distance between you and the next car by automatically adjusting your speed based on current traffic conditions. It can also tell you that you’re tailgating another vehicle too closely.
  • When you back out of a parking area, Rear Cross Traffic Alert warns you when another vehicle is crossing your reverse path.
  • You’ll feel confident handing over the keys to your young drivers who want a solo turn on the road. You can still watch over them using Teen Driver Technology. It allows you to set limits on speed and audio volume, among others and turns on safety features automatically. After the drive, you can take a look at how they did using an in-vehicle report card.
  • If you’d rather feel than hear your warnings, the Safety Alert Seat vibrates at the bottom of the driver’s position.
